Free Course For Parents
Dear parents,
We are very fortunate to have been provided a Family Support Worker by the Local Authority until the end of the summer term. We are one of only two primary schools in the whole of Herefordshire who have access to this resource at this moment in time.
Therefore, it is vital we all make good use of any opportunities for parents to join Freja (Family Support Worker)in any courses or drop in sessions she might be able to offer. She has a wealth of knowledge and also great professional connections she can tap into to support individual needs and circumstances.
Freya is, therefore, delighted to be able to offer classes to help parents understand their child’s behaviour and support them with strategies to implement boundaries, rewards, sanctions, interaction and make life more manageable. You will also have the opportunity to talk with other parents who may be experiencing similar issues and support each other. Refreshments will also be provided as an added incentive. We would strongly suggest you sign up if this is the type of support you feel you need.
Classes will run on a Friday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am, here at school, from Friday 3rd May for 6 weeks with no session during half term.
