4D's latest literacy unit involved using their incredible powers of persuasion to form their own political party. After writing a manifesto, the children created a party political broadcast, persuasive leaflet and set about canvassing Year Six for votes. We held a general election and the winning party, The Fab Students Party, was announced. The Fab Student Party promised discos every Friday, more ICT lessons and more comfortable seats in the dining hall, it remains to be seen whether they will fulfil their promises!
Despite all of the Christmas festivities going on this week, 4D made it out into the conservation area to continue their work on quadrilaterals. Turquoise group were finding right angles and Purple group were looking at the properties of different four sided shapes. Take a look at our photographs, can you name the shapes? Have we labelled the parallel lines correctly?
