In Year 3, we have been thinking about the Great Outdoors and about all the beautiful things in our world. On Tuesday, we went for a walk around the school grounds to find places we liked. Have a look at some of the photos we took, to show how lucky we are at Ashfield Park.
On Monday Class 3 T enjoyed a sunny morning at Lewstone farm studying plants and animals. The children thoroughly enjoyed stroking the young lambs the pigs and the chickens whilst learning a lot of information. Mr Herbert was most impressed by their questions.
Visit to the phoenix theatre13/03/2013 On Friday 8th March, Y3 were lucky enough to be able to see behind the scenes at the Phoenix Theatre! During a fun-filled morning, we were able to find out about the different jobs and activities that are part of life in all theatres. Have a look through a selection of photos taken at the Phoenix. We have been very impressed with how everyone is settling into the new routines this term. Thank-you for all the exciting title pages you have made for your thematic books. You have been very creative! We are looking forward to learning some circus skills next week when the Street Entertainers come in to visit. What a busy week!14/12/2012 The children did really well in the Snow Queen production. Thank you for sorting out all their costumes and getting them back to school for the evening performances. We hope you enjoyed the show too. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves yesterday. Amongst other things the children made pyramid biscuits, performed Egyptian dances ,made clay cartouches and designed Egyptian jewellery. Thank you for sending in so many sheets!
