Election fever has taken over in Years Two and Three as the children took part in the Ashfield Park Election 2015! After learning about the General Election which took place across the country yesterday, the children formed their own political parties and sat down to write their own manifestos based on what they would do to to improve our school. Candidates made promises ranging from free apples for all, to weekly school trips! After polishing their speeches, party leaders presented their ideas to the Year Three voters and waited anxiously for the results. It was a close fought battle, with an overall win for The Loving Party and second place taken by The Beastie Boys. Please enjoy some of the images below.
